Devotional: Psalms 94:9
“He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?”
Psalms 94:9
Reflection
In a world that often feels overwhelmingly loud with its demands and distractions, it's easy to feel unseen and unheard. We pour out our hearts in prayer, sharing our deepest anxieties and unspoken longings, yet sometimes doubt creeps in. Will God truly listen? Will He truly see my struggle? The psalmist beautifully reminds us: "He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?" This isn't just a rhetorical question; it's a powerful affirmation of God's perfect design and unfathomable care. The very God who intricately crafted your ability to hear and see possesses an infinitely greater capacity to hear your every whisper and see your every tear. He doesn't just listen; He understands. He doesn't just observe; He perceives your deepest needs. Today, rest in the comforting assurance that your Creator is attentive and aware. Bring your burdens to Him, for He hears you better than anyone else ever could.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, we thank You for being a God who hears and sees us. Forgive us for the times we doubt Your attentiveness or feel alone in our struggles. Strengthen our faith to truly believe that You are intimately aware of our every need and concern. Help us to cast our anxieties upon You, knowing that Your ears are open to our cries and Your eyes are always upon us. May we find profound peace in Your unwavering presence and perfect understanding. Amen.
