Devotional: Revelation 22:12

Revelation 22:12 offers a powerful and direct message from Jesus: "And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be." This isn't a vague prophecy, but a personal assurance that our Savior is returning sooner than we expect. It's a call to live with purpose and intentionality, knowing that every act, every word, every deed done in His name has eternal significance. Imagine the joy of hearing, "Well done, good and faithful servant!" This verse reminds us that our work for the Kingdom isn't in vain. Whether it's a grand gesture or a quiet act of kindness, God sees it all. Let this truth ignite a renewed passion within you to serve Him faithfully today, knowing that a glorious reward awaits from the King Himself.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the promise of Jesus' swift return and the blessed assurance of Your justice and reward. Help us to live each day with eternity in mind, serving You with all our hearts, minds, and strength. May our works be pleasing in Your sight, reflecting Your love and grace to a world in need. Strengthen us to persevere, knowing that Your reward is sure and true. In Jesus' precious name, Amen.
