Devotional: Revelation 22:5

Revelation 22:5 paints a breathtaking picture of our eternal home – a place where darkness is eradicated, not by artificial light, but by the very presence of God. Think about that for a moment: no more shadows, no more fear of the unknown, no more searching for clarity. In this beautiful vision, the Lord God Himself is our light. What a profound comfort this offers in a world often shrouded in spiritual, emotional, or even literal darkness. When worries overwhelm us, when our path seems unclear, or when despair tries to creep in, we can cling to this promise. Our future is secure, illuminated by divine grace. This verse reminds us that even now, in our journey towards that promised land, God's light can guide us through any trial. Let His eternal light be your hope and your comfort today, knowing that one day, we will reign in His ceaseless brilliance.

Heavenly Father, we are so grateful for the glorious future You have prepared for us, where darkness will be no more. Thank You for being our light in this present world, guiding our steps and illuminating our understanding. Help us to walk in Your truth and reflect Your love to those around us. May this promise of Your eternal light bring us peace and comfort in every circumstance. Strengthen our faith, Lord, as we eagerly await the day we will reign with You forever and ever. Amen.
