Devotional: Micah 7:15

Micah 7:15 is a powerful whisper of hope from God to His people, reminding them of His faithfulness. Just as He delivered Israel from the bondage of Egypt with 'marvellous things,' He promises to do the same for us in our own lives today. We often face our own 'Egypts' – seasons of struggle, fear, doubt, or overwhelming challenges that feel inescapable. But this verse assures us that the God who parted the Red Sea, provided manna in the desert, and led His people with a pillar of fire, is still at work. When you feel trapped or discouraged, remember this promise. God isn't limited by our circumstances. He desires to show us His mighty hand, to surprise us with His goodness, and to lead us into new seasons of freedom and blessing. Let your heart be encouraged; the same God who performed ancient miracles is ready to perform new ones in your life. Trust in His unfailing power and anticipate the 'marvellous things' He has prepared for you.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your timeless promise in Micah 7:15. We confess that at times, we feel overwhelmed by our 'Egypts' – the struggles and challenges that bind us. But today, we fix our eyes on You, the God who delivered Israel with marvelous power. We pray that You would open our eyes to see Your hand at work in our lives. Show us Your wonders, lead us to freedom, and strengthen our faith to believe in the extraordinary. May we always remember Your faithfulness, knowing You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Amen.
